Emma Roberts

Spending her St. Patrick’s Day at the doctor’s office, Emma Roberts was spotted paying a visit to a medical center in Beverly Hills on Tuesday (March 17).
The “Hotel for Dogs” actress was accompanied by a gal pal, with the two easing their way past awaiting paparazzi following the day’s check-up.

As for her blossoming career and new movie role, Emma recently told press, “Some people look at me and think, ‘She’s just Julia Roberts’s niece.’ So I wanted to do something smaller and edgier, something that would show I really am an actress.”
In order to prove herself, Roberts signed on for a starring role in the indie-flick “Lymelife,” a film that sees limited release in the States on April 8th.
Per IMDB, the new drama is “set in the late 70’s, seen through the innocent eyes of a fifteen year old boy, SCOTT. Lymelife is a unique take on the dangers of the American Dream. This funny, sad, violent and sometimes tragic look at first love, family dynamics and divorce weaves an intricate tapestry of American life during a time of drastic economic and emotional change.”
